So the Rainbow Dragon can't be resurrected without the 7 Ruby's.

Sounds like it. Then the Stardust dragon must've been misled by the Rainbow dragon to try and capture us and our Rubys. Which also explains the conflict between Omeg and Stardust. So now that we have our target, where is it and how do we kill it?
