yes it does bakugan need to be on the gate card for it to have effect.

no one is on your gate card that is why i said gate card open character. but still acid rain negates your gate card so I get 780 you 390. Ability activate Striking shot you cannot use any abilities and I am 890gs you 290gs .So i win no questions asked.
